The Baltimore Freedom Academy (BFA) will emphasize and encourage the positive transformation of urban youth and their communities by providing opportunities for emerging young leadership, academic excellence and personal development. Through a rigorous curriculum, real-world opportunities to practice leadership and personal mentoring, BFA will prepare its graduates to:

* Make post high school choices with informed perspective and confidence

* Be informed problem-solvers and effective advocates for positive social change

* Dedicate themselves to serving their families and their communities
