Welcome to the Baltimore Freedom Academy. BFA is a place of exploration and learning. We prepare students to make positive changes in themselves and in their communities. BFA, a 6-12 citywide public charter school, is open to any Baltimore city student who is curious about life. BFA's focus is advocacy, service, leadership, and academic excellence.

Student Showcase

BFA middle school students march to Baltimore's City Hall after learning of the tragic series of events which happened to Trayvon Martin during their studies. Faculty and studies have been engaging in coursework about the law, who makes laws, and whether the law is biased or for everyone. The BFA family was compelled to take action.
